It is our pleasure to welcome you to the  Centre de recherche en reproduction, développement et santé intergénérationnelle of Laval University— the CRDSI website which will give you a glance at our scientific activities and the reach of our centre in the community. Through its size, its involvement and its contributions, CRDSI is considered as one of the most important research centre in the field of reproductive biology in Canada and at the international level.

Formerly known as the Centre de recherche en biologie de la reproduction (Research centre on reproductive biology - CRBR), the centre has recently refreshed its mission in order to better integrate current issues in reproductive health. CRDSI now covers a broader theme including fundamental mechanisms involved in the reproductive process but also while taking into account environmental factors that can impact the reproductive capacity.

CRDSI is composed of researchers interested in human and animal reproduction, in the impact of lifestyles on future generations, in state-of-the-art technologies, in the use of these technologies and in the ethical considerations involved. This integrated vision offers a one of a kind diversified environment. CRDSI’s researchers combine expertise enabling them to work together toward the development of scientific knowledge, its dissemination and its valuation. Building on foundations established in the past 20 years by the CRBR, the training of highly qualified personnel is always at the centre of CRDSI's activities.

In the coming years, CRDSI aims to establish new collaborations, increase its member base, continue to attract students for high level scientific training and continue in its leadership and scientific excellence role.

The Centre lives to the rhythm and dynamism of its members. CRDSI is much more than a place for production and dissemination of knowledge, it is also a living, exchange and cooperation space between researchers, students and employees.

To learn more about our Centre’s activities, I invite you to use the navigation tools of this site to access its different sections. In my own behalf and on behalf of all CRDSI members, we wish you an excellent visit and invite you to contact us for more information.
