The Centre de recherche en reproduction, développement et santé intergénérationnelle (CRDSI) is well positioned to tackle and answer fundamental questions related to reproductive processes. Collectively, centre members combine a large and world renowned expertise on gonad functions (ovary and testis). To this, other experts integrate their work in the field of embryonic and foetal development.

The Centre has recently broaden its mission in order to integrate all reproductive processes, as well as include the potential long term impacts of the parents’ and mothers’ lifestyle during gamete production and the mother’s pregnancy. This involves the study of environmental factors and how they can program the genome of the offspring and lead to long term health impacts. The research themes of CRDSI revolve around our expertise on reproductive systems and are divided in four major axes.
