« Pursuit of Excellence» Scholarships
These $2,000 scholarships are intended for graduate students enrolled in Master’s or Doctoral programs affiliated with the CRDSI.
The main objective of this scholarship is to help students strengthen their applications for provincial and federal granting agency competitions. It also aims to support international students who are not eligible for these competitions. This scholarship is specifically designed to be awarded early in the academic journey and to offer an opportunity to students whose academic records (transcripts and publications) may be less extensive to still be competitive. These elements are considered in the eligibility and evaluation criteria.
IMPORTANT: An updated version of the announcement, with modified eligibility criteria, was posted on May 1, 2025. The following change was made to the document: the sentence “For Master’s students: must not have been enrolled for more than three terms” was replaced with “For Master’s students: must not have completed more than three terms.”
Deadline: Applications must be submitted no later than May 31, 2025.
